ArtWomb Luna experiment
Imagine fresh original music as performers connect and create in a comfy live environment, creativity sparks and is woven into art upon sketch books or the large collaborative and colourful canvas.
ArtWomb will be hosting regular sessions at a studio hidden in the hinterland, facilitating a gathering for creatives featuring an open stage and collaborative canvas.
We will run a series of events primed to produce artists, art and original music, held every three weeks to explore the effect of the lunar cycle upon our creativity.
ArtWomb kicked off on November 22nd with a sunset soiree and a performance from new Northern Rivers band Leonard's Slippers.
The next event will be held on December 13th between 2pm-7pm

As part of the Lantern Parade Festival you are invited to take a turn around the Creative Way. Explore the creative niches in the heart of Lismore and discover engaging performances and arts on display, join fun activities and workshops as you wander through the funky streetscape of the Back Alley Gallery to find your way to the main festivities at the Lismore Quad.
The program will include the interactive ArtWomb session where you can enjoy or contribute to the original music filling the alleyways from the open stage or add some colour to the large collaborative canvas that all are invited to paint upon. An exciting range of artists and local organisations will be bringing special elements to the program including interactive street art, circus, art and upcycling, Manga, Robotics, Badge-making and dance workshops plus a live hip hop cypher and dancejam brought to you by Raw Elementz. Discover some of the freshest art and unique treasures as the Young@Art Suitcase sale brings the creative gifts of our region's young and emerging artists to the streets.
